Sun Aug 24, 2008, 3:55 PM
I know this journal entry change is long overdue, but better late than never.:) Of course i don't have much to report...
-School's starting soon
-Colorguard sucked away what little bit of summer i had left(and they plan to take away what little freetime i have even after school starts)
-My bro's starting colledge
And that's pretty much it...
Hope you've all had a wonderful summer, mine was filled with nothing but computer and tv(nothing special:( )
Well See Ya Laters!!

Swirls

Wed Apr 16, 2008, 8:05 PM
Well i'm not so new anymore and i have to say, showing my work on DA has probably been one of the best decsions i have ever made, that and deciding that i was going to try and stuff half a giant bag of Gummi Worms in my mouth while my friend was choking on the other half.(don't ask) Anyways, as you may have seen, i've recently been obsessed with...swirls! They're my new theme for the time being and i think they are coming along very well...:) I am pleased to say that i will continue the swirls for a little while longer...basically unitl i get bored.:D

ME NEWS: On April 10, 2008 I turned !14! Woo-Yeah!! I had a wonderful B-Day and hope to continue to do so for the rest of my life!:D

Well, i've said what had to be said and am now moving on with my life...in other words i'm going to waste my time doing pointless things such as going to school and doing homework...*sigh*
P.S.
Here is a riddle for you...
Mountains will crumble, Temples will fall, and no man can survive it's endless call. What is it?
(-written by Jim Taylor)
(i'll try and post a riddle every week...:D)

Hey, i'm new to Deviant Art but my big bro's been on for like a while now. He's a great inspiration and role model...excpet for when he gets on my nerves and i just want to smack him. But other than that he's nice. I've been into art since i could copy my brother, and have greatly, GREATLY improved since then. I've always been an animal lover and they have been the subject for almost all my drawings. When it comes to photography though, i favor landscapes and inanimant objects, only because i'm too lazy to find what little animals i have access to. My favorite media when it comes to non-photogrphic art is pencil, which is the easiest and most efficient in my opinion.
Recently, i went on a vacation trip during Spring Break with my family to California. We saw all the best places possible. Including the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, and China Town. But aside from the huge city of San Fransisco, we went to Seqouia National Park. Lotta trees, lotta snow, lotta pictures! Being from Texas, and only being 13, i've never really experienced snow, so having that much of it shoved at me was a little overwhelming...but in a good way. We even got the chance to see a black bear on our way home!
I'd say the most painful part of our trip was staying up 5 hours straight, which is from the time i woke up on the last day plus the 5 hours of night-driving, which meant i went to sleep at 1:00 AM. And when you've been driving that long, it really puts a dent on you awareness level. Luckily we made it home in one piece.
Despite the few bumps we had, that six-day trip gave me an oppurtunity to try out my new camera, and get my photographer skills into practice. I think for a first timer i did pretty good. But if you want to compare family skills, just check out my bro's work. His Deviant account is [link] Just remember, he's had alot more practice, and is four years older than me.
Not to say i can't be just as good.
Well, i guess i've reported must of what's important. So, seeya!
