Hey, i'm new to Deviant Art but my big bro's been on for like a while now. He's a great inspiration and role model...excpet for when he gets on my nerves and i just want to smack him. But other than that he's nice. I've been into art since i could copy my brother, and have greatly, GREATLY improved since then. I've always been an animal lover and they have been the subject for almost all my drawings. When it comes to photography though, i favor landscapes and inanimant objects, only because i'm too lazy to find what little animals i have access to. My favorite media when it comes to non-photogrphic art is pencil, which is the easiest and most efficient in my opinion.
Recently, i went on a vacation trip during Spring Break with my family to California. We saw all the best places possible. Including the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, and China Town. But aside from the huge city of San Fransisco, we went to Seqouia National Park. Lotta trees, lotta snow, lotta pictures! Being from Texas, and only being 13, i've never really experienced snow, so having that much of it shoved at me was a little overwhelming...but in a good way. We even got the chance to see a black bear on our way home!
I'd say the most painful part of our trip was staying up 5 hours straight, which is from the time i woke up on the last day plus the 5 hours of night-driving, which meant i went to sleep at 1:00 AM. And when you've been driving that long, it really puts a dent on you awareness level. Luckily we made it home in one piece.
Despite the few bumps we had, that six-day trip gave me an oppurtunity to try out my new camera, and get my photographer skills into practice. I think for a first timer i did pretty good. But if you want to compare family skills, just check out my bro's work. His Deviant account is

Not to say i can't be just as good.
Well, i guess i've reported must of what's important. So, seeya!
